Barn Demolition in the Treasure Valley
Old barns and outbuildings dropped, sorted, and cleared from the lot.
Old barns are a Treasure Valley staple — and eventually a Treasure Valley liability. When a timber, pole, or metal barn starts leaning, rotting, or sitting unused on ground you'd rather farm or build on, Iron Crest Earthworks brings it down safely and clears the site.
Barns are deceptively tricky: heavy old timbers, hidden hardware, partial collapses, and decades of stored junk underneath. Our crew knows how to drop them in a controlled way, sort the material, and salvage usable lumber when you want it kept.

Our process
How barn demolition works
- 01
Assess the structure
We check the barn's condition, materials, and any partial collapse or fire damage, then quote it free.
- 02
Salvage what you want
Tell us if you want weathered lumber or hardware saved — we'll set it aside before the rest comes down.
- 03
Controlled teardown
The crew brings the structure down safely, managing the old timbers and any hazards.
- 04
Clear & grade
Debris is sorted and hauled, the foundation or slab is broken out if needed, and the ground is leveled.
In the Treasure Valley
Local ground, handled right
Canyon County and the valley's rural edges are full of aging timber and pole barns, many with old foundations, buried debris, or stored equipment underneath. We plan for those surprises, and we're happy to salvage the reclaimed barnwood that's worth real money before the rest is hauled off.
Barn Demolition FAQs
Can you save the barnwood?
Yes. If you want the weathered lumber or hardware kept, tell us up front and we'll carefully set it aside before taking the rest down.
What about the old foundation underneath?
We can break out and haul the foundation or slab and grade the footprint level, so you're left with clean, usable ground.
Is a leaning or collapsed barn more expensive?
It can be, because partial collapses and unstable structures take extra care. We'll assess it on site and give you a straight quote.
Do you clear what's stored inside first?
Yes — we can clear out the contents as part of the job, the same way we handle a junk removal or cleanout.
