Tracked excavator demolishing an old two-story wood farmhouse with debris piled on the lot — demolition across the Treasure Valley, Idaho

Our Hero Service

Demolition in the Treasure Valley

If it needs to come down, we bring it down — clean.

Demolition is what we do first and what we do best. Iron Crest Earthworks takes down the structures most contractors would rather leave alone — leaning barns, fire-damaged outbuildings, old farmhouses, backyard pools, detached shops, and pole barns — across the Treasure Valley. We bring the crew, the excavators, and the trailers to drop it, sort it, and haul it off in one mobilization.

We work both ends of the spectrum: wide-open rural acreage in Canyon County where there's room to swing a long-reach machine, and tight residential lots in Boise and Meridian where access, fences, and neighbors all matter. Either way, the job ends the same — a clean, level lot with the debris gone and the site ready for whatever you're building next.

If you've got more than one thing that needs to come down, we'd rather handle it all at once. Tearing out the barn, the old shed, and the cracked patio in a single trip saves you money and saves your property a second round of heavy equipment.

Our process

How a demolition job runs

  1. 01

    Walk the site & quote

We come out, look at the structure and the access, flag any utilities or hazards, and give you a straight written price — free.

  2. 02

    Permits & disconnects

We coordinate the demolition permit your city or county requires and make sure power, gas, water, and septic are properly disconnected before anything comes down.

  3. 03

    Tear down & sort

The crew brings it down safely, keeping dust and debris controlled, and sorts material so concrete, metal, and wood go where they should.

  4. 04

    Haul off & grade

Everything gets loaded and hauled to the right facility, then we rough-grade the footprint so you're left with a clean, usable site.

In the Treasure Valley

Local ground, local rules

Treasure Valley demolition comes with local realities we plan for: rural lots often have old wells, septic tanks, and buried debris that have to be handled correctly, and Ada and Canyon County both require demolition permits and utility sign-offs before work starts. We also keep dust down and runoff controlled — important on dry, windy high-desert sites and on tighter residential parcels alike.

Demolition FAQs

What kinds of structures do you demolish?

Barns, houses and additions, commercial and light-industrial buildings, detached garages, shops, pole barns, in-ground and above-ground pools, mobile homes, concrete, decks, and sheds. If it needs to come down, we can usually take it.

Do you haul the debris away?

Yes — every demolition includes sorting, loading, and hauling the debris to the proper facility. We leave you a clean, level lot.

Do I need a permit, and will you handle it?

Most demolition in the Treasure Valley requires a permit from your city or county, plus utility disconnect sign-offs. We coordinate that process with you before work begins.

Can you do a partial or selective demolition?

Yes. We handle everything from a full structure teardown to taking out just one wing, a single outbuilding, or an interior strip-out for a remodel.

How is a demolition job priced?

It depends on the size and type of structure, access, materials, and disposal. We give you a free on-site quote with a straight written price — no guessing over the phone.
